STUDENT EXPERIENCES IN SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION AND FIELD TRAINING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC – SPONSORED BY APASWE

APASWE are looking for students who consider themselves as members of the next generation of social work educators and scholars in the Asia Pacific, and call for abstracts related to the workshop theme of Student Experiences in Social Work Education and Field Training during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Notification of selection results: Friday October 29
Submission of presentation slides based on selected abstracts: Friday November 5

NETWORKING

Conferences are a great way to connect with like-minded people in your profession and the sector more broadly. Networking in a virtual conference will look a little different than if you were meeting people in the flesh, but it still can be done and well!

With so many of us working remotely, connection and networking are more vital than ever.

If you have already registered, or are thinking about registering, why not get the party started early?

AASW has set up the Conference as an event on LinkedIn, which has excellent professional networking capability. You can join the event chat and see who else is attending.

If you connect on Facebook, you can also join our event on Facebook and network in the Discussion tab.

GAMIFICATION

At the 26th Asia-Pacific Regional Social Work Conference 2021, we have designed an innovative and engaging Gamification competition for all attendees. You can earn points for simply watching abstract presentations, or visiting an exhibitor booth for example.

Gamification is the process through which a conference attendee earns points by completing certain actions while attending the Conference. These actions are things you would normally do at a conference anyway, except why not be rewarded for it?

Information about how to participate will be made available at the start of each day.

By simply participating, you stand the chance to win some fabulous prizes, including future access to AASW webinars, or complimentary registration to other AASW conferences. For full terms and conditions, please click here.
